Father Michael Fanous

Fr. Michael Fanous was born in Newark, New Jersey, grew up in Jersey City, NJ and Pennsylvania. He moved with his family in 1996 to Southern California. 
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Political Science at UCI. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended Azusa Pacific University and graduated with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. 
Fr. Michael Fanous was ordained to the priesthood on Sunday, March 3, 2013 by His Grace Bishop Serapion and His Grace Bishop Youssef to serve at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Palm Springs.
In May 2017, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion assigned him to serve at St. Marina Coptic Orthodox Church in Irvine.
